- After Korra Obidi's messy divorce in March of 2022, many of the couple's online fans dragged and called out the mother of two, saying that she used and dumped her American Chiropractor husband, Justin Dean. Several people argued that after saving her from poverty, Korra dumped the father of her children and went on to live her American dream.
However, it looks like the singing and dancing princess from the motherland, just as promised, is not to keep quiet anymore; Korra finally addresses the misconceptions regarding her marriage and ex-husband.
Just days before announcing that she is the latest owner of a 1.6 Million home in LA, the beautiful mother of two decided to set the records straight by debunking lies and telling her truth about marriage to the LA-based chiropractor. She further revealed how the once beautiful union became toxic.
One year after the divorce, is Korra doing the right thing by correcting some misinformation about her marriage and addressing the issue of being saved from poverty by her ex-husband?

Her strength in such a situation is unmatched, and I now understand her a tad better. I came across her channel by chance and saw her singing and dancing. I thought there was something wrong with her.
However, I continued to watch her and found her content hilarious. Not knowing her story, I watched but judged her. Now, after seeing this, my whole mindset has changed, and my respect for her has ballooned.
May God continue to guide, protect, and give her peace. I will continue to watch her vlogs.

I will never forget a little before my divorce because of another woman he was seeing; my ex was bitter assuming I would go for his money (meaning alimony), which was a lie. I came from a Share Croppers Daughter and worked hard to go to College and taking state tests, so the one that should really be concerned… should’ve been me. But I didn’t want his money and he felt bad when I never filed for a dime from him. 18 years later he still apologizes for the disrespect of saying I was going to be like his other gold digging women as he called them. I just wasn’t that woman that needed nothing from him. But we are in a better space as friends now, not only as my daughter’s father. So he definitely had more pull in court to get her money, not her getting his! She definitely had more money than him and he family legacy from her father.
